Sopes with Chorizo

RECIPE PREPARATION    
 
  • 1pkg. (10) La Banderita Sopes
  • 8 oz. (3 links) La Banderita Chorizo Sausage
  • 3 medium potatoes, cut into small cubes
  • 1 15 oz. can of refried beans
  • 2 medium tomatoes, seeded and cut into chunks
  • Romaine lettuce, washed and chopped
  • Ole Queso Fresco, crumbled
  • Ole Crema Mexicana
  • Cooking oil
 

Step # 1 - Preparing Topings

Let's start

-In a skillet, fry chorizo until thoroughly cooked. Remove and set aside.

- Cook potato cubes until crisp. Fry sopes in1/4 inch of hot oil on both sides until lightly golden brown and cooked through.

- Prepare refried beans.

Step # 2 - Preparing Sopes Con Chorizo

- On each sope, add some refried beans, chorizo and potatoes, tomatoes and lettuce, and garnish with queso fresco and crema.
